Honey of the Hive is a FatChanceBellyDance® Sister Studio  devoted to American Tribal Style® Belly Dance serving Kalamazoo, Michigan and surrounding areas.

Who We Are:

We are a community of dancers from various walks of life, bonded by our love for a dance that transcends the confines of spoken language.

Why Honey of the Hive? There are a number of reasons for the honeybee/hive/honey theme, the main one being that we are a family that works together and relies on one another in order to sweeten the lives of each individual, the “hive” as a whole, and the general public.

Melissa Decker, owner of Honey of the Hive, is a Certified American Tribal Style® belly dance instructor who teaches classes and private lessons. Her body-positive classes are a safe and welcoming place to make new friends, get a great workout, shake off the stress of everyday life, explore your creative side, and have a whole lot of FUN!
