Attendance and Refunds:

If you're unable to dance but still able to attend class, you may observe and/or take notes. Please inform the instructor of your desire to do so before class begins.

If you are unable to attend a class that you have already paid for, speak with the instructor within 24 hours of missing class. IF multiple classes are being offered per week, you may be able to take a make-up class (at your level or below) within that same session.

If you would like to withdraw from a session and would like a refund, you must notify your instructor via email or in writing before the second class of the session. No refunds will be granted outside of this timeframe, no exceptions. Another option is to transfer your registration another individual (to be used in the same session that you originally paid for).

Cancellations

Honey of the Hive reserves the right to cancel any class session that does not have enough registrants.  If this occurs, students may choose to transfer their registration to a future session, apply it towards private lessons, or receive a refund.

In the event of extreme weather or other circumstances beyond our control, it may be necessary to cancel individual classes. Your instructor will notify you as soon as possible if this is the case. Announcements regarding cancellations and rescheduled classes will be posted on Honey of the Hive's Facebook page as well as on the class event page on Facebook. Please feel free to call Melissa if you have questions.

Honey of the Hive may choose to handle rescheduled classes by adding time onto already scheduled classes or holding a make-up class at a later date.

If it is not possible to make up a class or the session is cancelled before the second class of the session, you will receive a full refund of your tuition for that class or session (minus any applicable PayPal fees, if applicable) as well as information on any other classes that you may be able to join.

As a general rule, If any of the following area public schools are closed due to inclement weather, dance class is cancelled for that day:

  • Climax-Scotts
  • Galesburg
  • Kalamazoo
  • Parchment
  • Portage
  • Vicksburg
